Lindsey Wilkerson

Lindsey grew up as a competitive dancer in Arizona. At age of 12, she received a full scholarship to Tremaine Dance Studios and began spending her summers studying and assisting in Los Angeles. Lindsey continued to train in both LA and Phoenix before joining the dance program at the University of Arizona and ultimately moving to LA to dance professionally.


It was during this time that Lindsey began to really explore her passion for choreography after a few years of creating performance pieces for various companies in LA, Lindsey moved back to Phoenix to accept the position of Company Director for “Alice Cooper’s Destiny Dance International”. In this position, she created and directed an award-winning competition team and was the primary choreographer for Alice Cooper’s annual “Christmas Pudding” stage show. Lindsey eventually made her way to Portland, Oregon where she was the primary Company Director for a performing arts school in downtown. She also became the Choreography Director and Assistant Producer of the professional performing company: “Mosaic”.


However, Lindsey missed the Arizona sun and moved back to the valley in 2014.
In the past few years, Lindsey has continued to teach and choreograph around the valley. In addition various dance schools, she is currently working as the choreographer for the Chandler Children’s Choir and collaborating with local public and private schools in their dance education programs. Lindsey is also a guest choreographer for Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Foundation and is working to create a non-profit organization to showcase young performers while raising funds for children’s charities.


It is important to Lindsey to create a fun environment for students to explore dance, while still valuing hard work and disciplined technique.T hrough dance, Lindsey hopes to inspire creativity while building self-esteem and confidence for her students to keep with them, wherever life may lead.
